About the Role
In the Product Manager role, you’ll be a driving force behind the successful implementation of our iJoin suite of products. By joining our team you will become part of a tight-knit group that is hungry, full of knowledge to share and driven to succeed. As a team player you will adjust quickly and your depth of experience will provide insight that will help spearhead the evolution of our product.
Responsibilities Include
- Work under the direction of the SVP, Product Technology to ensure the timely and effective execution of the company’s product initiatives.
- Coordinate with Scrum Master and Engineering leads to ensure sprint planning aligns with business objectives.
- Take a hands-on approach to crafting epics, stories and potentially any associated UI mockups for the related project work.
- Participate in client/partner meetings to gain an understanding of project requirements, timelines, etc. and be a driving force behind the execution of all project deliverables.
- Assist in serving as a voice of our client base when it comes to fulfilling stakeholder requirements. Where appropriate this may include carrying out quality assurance tasks or final sign-off of features prior to production deployment.
- Work with Marketing where appropriate to provide product updates and relevant feature content.
Skills and Attributes Needed
- Demonstrated prior success in roles such as Product Manager or Senior Business Analyst is a must.
- Extensive hands-on experience using JIRA as a project management and reporting instrument within an agile methodology.
- A ‘bulldog’ mentality with a conviction to see projects through to their timely and successful completion.
- Capacity to coordinate and manage multiple tasks at any given time.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
- A solid understanding of retirement industry concepts is necessary. Familiarity with the FIS Relius Administration, OMNI or other recordkeeping systems is not required, but would be viewed as highly advantageous.
- This is a fully remote position. An ability to work from home effectively is an absolute must.
